Police-community relations is an important issue in communities throughout the country. The Las Vegas Valley is no exception, having experienced several controversial officer-involved deaths of civilians.
Nearly 90 students and several dozen parents attended the eighth annual event on Saturday, April 29, at Cheyenne High School. We are thankful for the students and parents that attended, and we appreciate the feedback.
Kudos to the officers from the Las Vegas Metro, North Las Vegas and Clark County School District Police Departments for your guidance, to the Black Law Students Association at UNLV and the local chapter of the National Bar Association for insight on the legal ramifications of teenage misbehavior.
